My lil' Book Worm Layout - Create a critter and Sugar n spice

Okay im having HUGE issues with my blog layout sorry :(

Here is another project I made with the back to school theme in mind ... My lil girl loves to look at books and loves when I read them to her so I thought I would put a picture of her on one side of the book and list her fav books on the other side.

I just love how it turned out

I used critter faces from peachy keen stamps for the worms face
http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/products/PK_754_Critter_Faces_SET_A_Medium-405-6.html

I cut the book from sugar n spice only the first two layers

the worm is cut at about 3"

I used make the cut and a font from my computer for the title

i took a scrap and rounded its corners embossed it in my cuttle bug ran some ink lightly over it and ribbon and a button to make it look like a bookmark

I added glossy accents on the glasses of my worm

added a strip of bazzil polka dot at the bottom and some ribbon

DONT FORGET !!! go back to www.thecanadianpapertrail.blogspot.com to enter for a giveaway !!

I cut the 2 orange mats at 5x10 "

I cut the 2 star mats at 4.5x9.5"

Layerd them ontop and glued down with atg gun

used the cheat method to tie bows on the bottom

cut the title and welded it using my design studio 2.5x4"

The crayons were cut from elmo's party black layer and then cut each colour out I decided not to use the faces from the cart and used peachy keen stamps instead

Sorry for your loss, Create a Critter & Paper doll Dressup - Pet Sympathy Card

So I am not the greatest at keeping this blog updated because I have a 2 year old little girl who refuses to sleep lately. I plan on trying to tell more about my projects from now , I am typing this waiting for my stickles to dry and also tyring to keep my little girl entertained its waaaay past her bedtime but you could never tell.

I really REALLY wish I had the peaschy keen stamps to go along with the animals on Create a Critter, but sadly I just dont have the cash to buy them right now but eventually I will have to buy them and re-make this card . Have you ever done that?? after I bought my Every day faces set pk 490 for my paper dolls I re made everything I used that cartridge with because the faces just bring it to life.

If you havent seen them you need to check them out at http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/

Anyways for this project I used Create a Critter and cut the cute little dog on page 34.

I cut it at 2.5" and also added some pink scraps behind the ears .

For the cloud and halo I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge page 75

I used Ds and kinda messed with them a bit to make the shapes the exact size I wanted .

I inked the edges of my paper, and my cloud. Added some detail with gel pens and put it all together.

Hope you like it
