My lil' Book Worm Layout - Create a critter and Sugar n spice
Okay im having HUGE issues with my blog layout sorry :(
Here is another project I made with the back to school theme in mind ... My lil girl loves to look at books and loves when I read them to her so I thought I would put a picture of her on one side of the book and list her fav books on the other side.
I just love how it turned out
I used critter faces from peachy keen stamps for the worms face
http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/products/PK_754_Critter_Faces_SET_A_Medium-405-6.html
I cut the book from sugar n spice only the first two layers
the worm is cut at about 3"
I used make the cut and a font from my computer for the title
i took a scrap and rounded its corners embossed it in my cuttle bug ran some ink lightly over it and ribbon and a button to make it look like a bookmark
I added glossy accents on the glasses of my worm
added a strip of bazzil polka dot at the bottom and some ribbon

You Colour my world Scrapbook layout - Canadian Paper Trail Spotlight
Hey Everyone,
Here is how I made my project for The Canadian Paper Trail Canadian Crafters Spotlight. The Theme is Back to School or End of Summer.
I Chose Back to School??
My Daughter is only two so She wont be going to school anytime soon but she loves to colour.
So here is my layout
What I used
title -Pooh font Cricut cartridge
Crayons cut at 4.5" - Elmo's Party cricut cartridge
Design studio
Peachy Keen Stamps - Everyday face assortment
white gel pen
pop dots
atg gun
aqua glue
black ribbon
rainbow ribbon
buttons
Star paper - DCWV Flower Shower spring pack
other paper was just pulled from scrap drawer
I cut the 2 orange mats at 5x10 "
I cut the 2 star mats at 4.5x9.5"
Layerd them ontop and glued down with atg gun
used the cheat method to tie bows on the bottom
cut the title and welded it using my design studio 2.5x4"
The crayons were cut from elmo's party black layer and then cut each colour out I decided not to use the faces from the cart and used peachy keen stamps instead
coloured whites of eyes and added white dots around edges.
wrapped black ribbon around bottoms just for texture.
put everything together and TADA here it is
I love how it turned out :)
